Caleb Martin is a well-recognized American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Martin played college basketball for the NC State Wolfpack and the Nevada Wolf Pack. He was then named the Mountian West Conference Player of the Year for the 2017-18 season by the league’s coaches. High school career

Caleb, a 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) small forward played basketball for prep powerhouse Oak Hill Academy alongside twin brother Cody Martin. Before playing at Oak Hill, he and his brother played 3 seasons at Davie County High School in Mocksville. Martin also played football during his Freshman year of high school. Together, they committed to North Carolina State University to play for coach Mark Gottfried.

College career

He averaged 11.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game as a sophomore. After the season, the twins opted to transfer to Nevada to play for coach Eric Musselman. Hence, they would play for both the N.C. Charlotte Hornets (2019-2021)

Following going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, Caleb signed with the Charlotte Hornets on July 31. 2019. Martin joined his brother Cody, who was picked in the 2nd round of the draft. The Hornets converted his deal into a two-way deal on October 19, 2019. Later that day, he agreed to a multi-year contract with the team which was converted to a standard deal.
