Tiffany Sara Cornilia Haddish was born to Tsihaye Reda Haddish and Leola. Her father was a refugee from Eritrea, and of Ethiopian Jewish heritage, while her mother was an African-American small business owner from a Christian family.
Her parents divorced at the age of three years and her mother remarried. Tiffany’s mother suffered severe brain damage in a car accident in 1988, believed to have been caused by her schizophrenia.
